Well, the drama continues. Just to make my life a bit more stressful I’ve got to have a full system ultrasound done from kidneys downwards. That takes place on Thursday afternoon and hopefully won’t show anything unpleasant.
Given that I’ve been living with the original injury since I was a teenager and have had so little trouble with it up until recently, consideration has to be given to the small chance that there could be a nasty word involved.
I’m telling myself that it’s complete nonsense of course but there’s always that nagging worry. Right now Thursday can’t come soon enough.
Partly to take my mind off the present I’ll be diving back into the past tomorrow to continue the tribulations of a young rugby player, despite the long term effects of those days I still find some of them quite funny to think about.
Thanks to everyone for the supportive comments and messages during what’s been a very unpleasant few days.

Over here there are a bunch of fingers crossed for things to turn out the best. I hope Thursday soon will come and go and things are back to normal for you.

Thank you, I don’t want anyone damaging their fingers though! I’m almost sure that there’s nothing to worry about but well, you know…

I’m hoping and praying for a nice clean scan. Try to think positive, I know easier said than done! But you have the right idea trying to take your mind off of it. Hope you succeed!
Hugs!

Who’d have thought that my past would be a safe haven from the fears of the present? I guess it proves that everything really is relative. I’m staying as positive as I can although I wish it was Thursday today.

Many positive thoughts are headed your way from me. Here are a couple of extra large hugs thrown in for good measure. Hopefully all your worries will be for naught and it will be a minor problem and easily corrected. Love and hugs! JR

I’m trying very hard to convince myself that it’s all a false alarm but good wishes and hugs are very welcome. Thank you
